Markforged X5 3D Printer
The X5 produces high-quality continuous fiber-reinforced parts.
Continuous Fiberglass Reinforced Parts
The X5 prints Fiberglass reinforced parts capable of replacing some machined aluminum parts. Experience what parts 10x stronger than ABS can do for your manufacturing and prototyping process.
A Wide Range of Print Modes
Print parts with various print modes, including high-resolution printing. The modes ensure your part is perfect down to even the smallest details—experience print quality unlike other types of 3D printers.
Industrial Accuracy and Reliability
Well-designed hardware, best-in-class sensors, and one-of-a-kind software create industry-leading accurate and reliable parts for industrial use. Markforged industrial 3D printers deliver micron-level laser scanning for closed-loop calibration, reliably furnishing parts with near-perfect surface finish and a highly repeatable print cycle.
3D Printing Software Meets Production Management
Design your part, upload it into Markforged’s browser-based software, select from a wide range of Composite Base filaments and Continuous Fibers, and hit print. Additive Manufacturing has never been so easy.
A Variety of Material Options
The X5 provides manufacturers with six different material options, including Fiberglass, Nylon, Onyx ESD, Onyx FR, Onyx, and Precise PLA.

Markforged X5
The Markforged X5 CFR commercial 3D printer merges precision-built 3D printing hardware, advanced sensors, and industry-leading software to produce accurate parts. It features a reinforced, precision-machined gantry and a precision ground print bed that can be removed and replaced with ten μm repeatability.
Each piece of hardware in the filament extrusion system — from the nozzles to the extruder hobs — is optimized to resist wear from micro carbon fiber-filled nylon filaments and maintain print quality over thousands of hours.
Out-of-material sensors ensure that you’re continuously printing. At the same time, a scanning laser on the printhead enables the printer to dynamically adjust the first layers of a print to achieve perfect bed adhesion.
The X5 has a 3rd-generation fiber reinforcement system that lets you lay down continuous fiber into parts layer by layer. Markforged composite printers are capable of printing Continuous Fiberglass reinforced parts.
The X5 has a build volume of 330 mm wide, 270 mm in depth, and 200 mm in height.
