3D Scanning Services

Are you looking to scan a manufactured part or building? TPM has you covered with our 3D scanning services. Our team can capture 3D measurements from objects as small as a pinhead or as large as a historical building. With best-in-class 3D scanning technology, we always provide accurate, to-life object models.

Our Scan to BIM Process

Scan to BIM Data Capture

Step 1: We Scan to Capture Data

TPM scanning experts visit your site and perform 3D laser scanning with best-in-class laser scanners from Leica Geosystems.

This series of scans creates a high-quality, highly accurate point cloud of the existing conditions.

Step 2: We Create a Realistic 3D Model

We provide various downloadable point cloud file types to suit your needs, including .RCP, .RCS, .LGS, and more.

In addition to the point cloud, TPM can deliver full modeling services at any LOD. This model can be delivered in Revit, AutoCAD, and many other formats.

Deliver Scan to BIM Data

Step 3: We Deliver the BIM Data to You

We deliver either a point cloud or a Revit model, including associated BIM data depending on your needs and preferences.

This data enables you to make informed decisions leveraging true-to-life, accurate data instead of inaccurate, inefficient processes and data.

3D Part Scanning

TPM is the Southeast’s leader in 3D part scanning. We use high-precision Artec 3D scanners to capture data points of an object. Our experienced team then uses that data to reverse engineer the part and provide you with the resulting CAD file.
