It’s not just a facelift from the old ADMIN portal; this platform introduces a suite of features that were once exclusive to those who directly contacted their reseller. Now, these powerful tools are at your fingertips, streamlining the way you handle SOLIDWORKS licenses.

Any user that has admin access to DSX Client Care and Order can view this screen.

Exploring the Capabilities of SOLIDWORKS My Products

Dive into the diverse range of functionalities available on the new SOLIDWORKS My Products platform. This intuitive interface not only simplifies your administrative tasks but also brings a wealth of information to your fingertips. Here’s what you can expect:

  • Comprehensive Product Overview: Easily view all your products, each with its unique serial number, ensuring you have a complete inventory at a glance.
  • License Management: Stay informed about your license expiration dates, with clear visibility of each product’s entitlement date.
  • Support Timeline: Keep track of the support end date for each product, helping you plan for updates or renewals.
  • Activation Status: Instantly check which products are currently activated and on which computer, simplifying license management.
  • Serial Number Insights: With a simple click, delve into the details of each product tied to a specific serial number, providing a deeper understanding of your entitlements.
  • Effortless Data Export: Generate and download a detailed CSV spreadsheet encompassing all your product information, perfect for record-keeping and analysis.

Accessing MyProducts

2. Login using your 3Ds account, ensuring that you have the Security Admin role assigned to your account.

Upon login, if your organization has a larger number of assets to display, the system may display “Fetching product details…” as it works to gather the data.

3. Review your SOLIDWORKS assets.

  • Support End Date is the subscription end date.
  • License Type is Standalone or Network.
  • Expires is the date when the serial number expires and can no longer be accessed/activated. For standalone perpetual licenses, this should be “Never” or some date in the future.
  • Activated displayed if the serial number is activated with a Yes or No.

4. Clicking a product’s blue hyperlink will open the information for that specific product, including the currently activated machine.

5. You can also export/download your asset listing as a CSV file, which can then be viewed within Excel or another spreadsheet application. The CSV file will contain information for all your assets on one sheet with columns for product name, release, serial number, license type, quantity, support end date, Expirations, and active machine list.
