InspectionXpert® is an application for creating quality inspection forms from CAD drawings. InspectionXpert comes in two versions, InspectionXpert for SolidWorks and InspectionXpert First-Article.

InspectionXpert First-Article is a CAD-neutral, standalone application and can handle most popular CAD formats (e.g. AutoCAD, Inventor and more). Even raster formats such as PDF and TIFF are supported. InspectionXpert First-Article structures and streamlines your inspection documentation creation process. A forty to sixty percent reduction in inspection documentation creation time is typical with InspectionXpert First-Article.

Additional Information

InspectionXpert First-Article enables you to:

Quickly generate quality inspection forms and ballooned drawings from your 2D drawings.  Many 2D formats are supported including Autocad, Autodesk Inventor, Cadkey, ME10, PDF, SolidEdge, SolidWorks, TIFF, Visio and more.

Work natively with many 2D formats thereby eliminating the need to have the CAD systems installed on the same machine.

Capture inspection characteristics directly from your 2D drawing.

InspectionXpert First-Article enables you to:

Export all of your selected inspection characteristics to a new quality inspection form in Microsoft Excel.

Quickly and easily customize the layout of your inspection forms.

All inspection characteristics from the drawing are uniquely numbered and added both to the rows on the inspection form and to balloons on the drawing.

InspectionXpert creates a new PDF copy of your drawing which includes balloons which uniquely identify your inspection characteristics.

All inspection characteristics from the drawing are uniquely numbered and added both to the rows on the inspection form and to balloons on the drawing.

If you enable InspectionXpert First-Article's Grid option, then a grid will be added to your new drawing and the coordinates for each inspection characteristic, relative to the grid, will be added to the inspection form.
